Privacy Policy

What the app accesses

iPod Apple Music is built to work with Apple Music and podcast metadata. The app itself is not intended to collect and store a separate user profile database for the developer.

  • The app may access your Apple Music library, playback state, and related Apple Music content only after you grant permission through Apple MusicKit.
  • The app may request public podcast metadata and RSS information through Podcast Index API and publicly available podcast feeds.
  • The developer does not claim ownership of your Apple Music account data or podcast feed content.

How information is used

Information accessed by the app is used to provide the core listening experience, including browsing music you are authorized to access and presenting podcast content from public sources.

  • To display and interact with your Apple Music library and related content within the app interface.
  • To load and present podcast metadata or RSS feed details from public podcast sources.
  • To support app monetization through advertising services, where applicable.

Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services that operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

  • Apple MusicKit: used to access Apple Music content after user authorization.
  • Podcast Index API and public RSS feeds: used to retrieve podcast metadata and feed content that is publicly available.
  • Google AdMob: used for advertising. Google may collect or process certain device, usage, or identifier information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, or related purposes under Google's own policies.

You can review Google's privacy information at policies.google.com/privacy.

Data retention and control

The developer's intention is not to maintain a separate long-term personal data archive for users of the app.

  • If app access depends on Apple Music authorization, you can revoke that access through your Apple device settings or Apple account controls where available.
  • Podcast information shown in the app is based on public data sources and may change when those sources change.
  • Advertising-related processing by Google AdMob is subject to Google's systems, settings, and policies.
